ستة أنماط بحث مسبقة الضبط تسمح لك ببساطة بتشغيل الجهاز والبدء في البحث. والأنماط المضافة على النمط العام ونمط البحث العميق هي: غني بالمعادن، بقعة، نثريات معدنية غير ثمينة، بالغ الدقة. يمكن تعديل جميع أنماط البحث بحيث تصبح ضوابطك الشخصية المفضلة. كما ويمكن تغيير أسماء أنماط البحث التي تعمل من القائمة. 
تسمح زيادة ضبط حساسية الاستقبال بتحكم أكثر دقة في الحساسية بهدف الحصول على الأداء الأمثل. 
تسهل خيارات موازنة الأرضية الآلية تعديل الكاشف بحيث يلائم كل ظروف التربة، مثلا (ثابت، بحث، سرعة البحث، نوع موازنة الأرضية، زر البحث السريع). 
تعديل صوتي لتعظيم إشارات الأهداف الصوتية بحيث تلائم قدرتك السماعية، مثلا (المبدى، النغمة، نوع الصوت، ذروة الإشارة، الاستجابة، جهارة إشارة الهدف، درجة الصوت، المثبت). 
القدرة على ضبط خاصية رفض الحديد لتلائم مستوى الخردة الحديدية في مكان بحثك. 
التحكم في الحركة يمكن تعديله بحيث يناسب سرعة المسح وتعطيك استجابة مثلى للأهداف. 
التآلف (ويعرف أيضا باسم إلغاء التشويش) – خيارين، آلي ويدوي للتقليل من التداخل الكهربائي.
